My name is Agosto Fillende. I'm an italian. I'm fighting in the war and I believe my country's reasons for being in this war.
1.As an Italian i believe my country is in the war for all the right reasons.We fight to for respect. As a small country not many people think we are a threat. I'm hoping that the result of this war will show people we are a force to be reckoned with. I believe that making an alliance with Germany and Austria-Hungary was definiteley the right idea. They are powerful and with us teamed upped with them it will make us look powerful.
2.I can't believe what happened today. I was walking with my wife and my two kids. I was talking to my wife, when out of nowhere I heard two gun shots. I immediately shielded my kids, but i realized it was coming from a different direction. I heard somebody yell "The Duke has been shot, His wife was shot too" I was baffled. "Who would want to kill the Arch Duke?" I asked my wife. Right then i saw a man run past me. I wonder if he had anything to do with it? Week 2 Dec.15th
1.My troop sat around today thinking of a master battle plan.After about three hours will combined thoughts and plans we thought of it.One group would be stationed in trenches near the enemy.They will be equipped with machine guns and binoculars to spy on them.The second group will be waiting back at our site as backup in case things get to hectic.The third group would be 1000 feet in the air waiting for air strikes to be called in.
2.This propaganda poster is saying to never give up.If we fight hard and strong the war will end.This picture is using the technique of motivating soldiers to keep the fight up and running.
3.I always knew Russia was weak.The couldn't take it anymore.I have to be honest I am a little angry about USA joining this war.I believe they have no part in it.Well we should be winning this war pretty soon.I am afraid of how Germany is doing.Everyone believes that they are the main cause for it.I just hope that in the end my country gets the land it was promised.
Week 4 Jan.5
1.I can't not even begin how angry me and my fellow country is.What a coward Germany is.They take all the blame for the war.Even worse my country is the one who gets screwed in the end.We were promised land that we did not recieve.I saw the end of the war working out for me but i guess it's not what god intended.I must go. I'm on my way back home to see my family. I'll say one thing though. This is not the end of total war
